They have set a meeting for <br />this coming Monday at 7:30 p.m. He noted the legislatior.?. on the agenda <br />pertaining to the Finance Committee. <br />Hi'1'lcrest Counci'1 of Councils - Mr. Petschauer said they met on December 6 <br />for their.annua'1 meeting. They wi1.l be electing offi,cers i:n the very near <br />fu.ture. <br />. P'lanning and Zoning - Mr. Basi7.e said they met on December :Lst. Mr. Myers <br />presented a new concept for SOM Sands, requesting variances which were <br />rejected by the P'lanning and Zoning Commission. <br />M.A.R.C.- Mr. Etzler said there uias no meeting. <br />Recreation - Mr. Petschauer reported on the Christmas Party that was held <br />on December 14. He said the children who attended received refreshments, a <br />free gift and a pictuze with San.ta. Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said the Committee did not have a quorum <br />at their last meeting. 'They di:scussed Ordinance No. 86-22; (regarding <br />point-of-sale inspectiona.) Peop:Le from the Rea'1 Estate Board were present <br />at the meeting and the :Legis:Lation was put on ho'ld tor the time being. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Front Row Traffic Prob'lem - Mayor Carmen said he has.been having ongoing <br />discussions w.ith two persons in terms of gaining another access.to the <br />Front Row. He said the discussions are at a delicate.stage at.this point. <br />He.asked Chie.f Stevens for an update on the overhead sign. <br />Chief Stevens said High'land Heights is reviewing the p'lans submitted for <br />the overhead signs and they shauld be ready next month.
