?. MINUTES OF TBE ORGANIZATIONAL MEE'TIlNG OF COUNCII. Mayfield Village January 8, 1990 The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, January 8, 1990, at 8 o'clock p.m. (8 p.m.) in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Mayor Fred N. Carmen presided. ' Roll Ca11: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Fenante, W. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Pietrafese, and Mr. Rinker Absent: None ? ? Also Present Were: 1Vlayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Chief Mohr, Mr. Patrick, Mr. Ramos, Chief Stevens, and Miss Heath Mayor Carmen said this is the 1990 Organizational Meeting of Council. He will preside until the 1990 President of Council is elected. He thanked everyone for coming this evening. Mayor Carmen said there were a lot of oaths to administer. He wants to begin with the Council people. Mayor Carmen said he wanted to thank the two Council people who are not with us, David Petschauer and Art Santoro. He said they determined not to seek re-elecrion which left their seats vacant. He said there are two new people with us as a result. Mayor Carmen administered oaths of office to the following Council members: Joanne Cinco At Large Wallace Ferrante Ward 2 Blase Pietrafese At Large <. Bruce Rinker Ward 4 Mayor Carmen asked Council to confirm his appointments. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to confirm the appointment of Fred P. Ramos as Law Director for a two-year tenn. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Appointment Conf'umed Mayor Carmen administered the oath of office to Fred P. Ramos as Law Director. Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to confirm the appointment of Crreg Miller as Animal Warden for a one-year term. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Morion Carried Appointment Confirmed Mayor Carmen administered the oath of office to Crreg Miller.
