.;. .? ? <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />February 5, 1990 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, February 5, 1990, at <br />8:01 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President Mills presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Pietrafese, <br />and Mr. Rinker <br />Absent: Mr. Basile <br />Also Present Were: Mayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Mr. Patrick, Chief Mohr <br />(8:03 p.m.), Chief Stevens, and Miss Heath <br />Mrs. Mills said that Webelo Pack 119 were here. The scoutmaster introduced each member <br />of the pack. <br />Mrs. Mills said the meeting was called to consider Resolution No. 90-7. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 90-7, entided; "A RESOLUTION DECLARING <br />MARSHAI,L FORD TO BE TBE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR TBE SALE TO <br />TBE MUNICIPALTTY OF TWO (2) POLICE CARS, AUTHORIZING TBE MAYOR <br />AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO ENTER INTO A PURCHASE AGREEMENT <br />WITH MARSHALL FORD IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWENT'Y-NINE <br />THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTH-EIGHT DOLLARS AND SEVENTY <br />CENTS($29,148.70) FOR THE PURCHASE OF TBE TWO (2) POLICE CARS, <br />REJECTING AL;L OT'HER BIDS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced <br />by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Ramos said that there is an error in Section 2. The amount should read $14,574.35. <br />Chief Mohr arrived at this time. (8:03 p.m.) <br />Mr. F1ynn, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 90-7. <br />Mayor Camlen explained the rotation system followed for the purchase of new police cars. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: . All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted
