ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Morion Carried Resolution Adopted First Reading, of Resolution No. 90-33, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TBE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY RADIO COMMUrIICATIONS SPECIALISTS AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY DOLLARS ($8,560.00) FOR TBE PURCHASE OF MOTOROLA MOBII,E AND PORTABLE RADIOS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Morion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 90-33. Mr. Flynn said this item was discussed at the Finance Committee and they feel it should be passed. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Morion Carried Resolution Adopted First ReadingLof Resolurion No. 90-34, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TBE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO MAKE PAYMENT TO LOVE INSURANCE AGENCY, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF SEVEN THOUSAND FIFTY-NINE DOLLARS ($7,059.00) FOR TBE PURCHASE OF A PROPERTY INSURANCE PACKAGE POLICY FROM NORTHBROOK PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE PERIOD JUNE 1, 1990 TO JUNE 1, 1991, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills asked Mr. Patrick to explain the next resolutions. Mr. Patrick expressed thanks to the Assistant Finance Director for working with the Law Director to get these items on the agenda. The legislarion covers insurance matters. He recommends that Council pass the legislation this evening.
