ti <br />Regular Council Meering <br />5/21/90 <br />Page 15 <br />First Reading of Resolurion No. 90-37, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TBE <br />DIIZECTOR OF FINANCE TO MAKE PAYMENT TO LOVE INSURANCE AGENCY, INC. IN <br />TBE AMOUNT OF SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE DOLLARS <br />($7,429.00) FOR TBE PURCHASE OF FIRE AMBULANCE MALPRACTTCE AND <br />FIREFIGHTERS ERRORS AND OMISSIONS LIABII,ITY INSURANCE FROM AMERICAN <br />EMPIRE SURPLUS LINES INSURANCE CO. FOR T'HE PERIOD JUNE 1, 1990, TO JUNE <br />1, 1991, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.". Iniroduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as <br />a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Pietrafese, made a morion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a <br />resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a morion to adopt Resolution No. 90-37. <br />Mr. Basile said that American Empire is the insurance company that refused to pay a couple of <br />years ago and asked that we make sure the policy is written conectly so that they will pay. <br />Mr. Patrick said that not many insurance companies cover these types of individuals. He said that <br />the Village has an insurance consultant that takes care of that. He will ask for a letter of verification <br />on this coverage. <br />Mr. Rinker said they should give us a letter explaining what exceptions to the policy there are. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None 1Vlorion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mrs. Mills asked that Council make a motion to go into Executive Session. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Mr. Ferrante questioned the parking lot at the Beverage Store. <br />Mr. Amendola to meet with him next week. <br />Mr. Flynn said the question is.if he is going to do a new parking lot; he thinks he should re-do. <br />Mr. Ferrante asked the verdict on the left-turn light at the corner; when will it get done. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said they are in the process of resubmitting it to the State with the changes made <br />Apri11989. We had been told we could not touch it unril the Wilson Mills signalizarion was <br />accepted by the Ohio Department of Transportarion. That occurred last December and since then it <br />could have been done. He said it will be done this year. <br />Mrs. Cinco said the Service Department needs a typewriter.
