? or? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />6/18/90 <br />Page 8 <br />Mrs. Mills asked if Council wanted to amend the agenda to include the purchase of Cavaliers <br />tickets for the employee incenrive program. <br />Mr. Flynn requested that Council put this on the Caucus agenda for July for further discussion. <br />Discussion was held regarding the repair of the Wiley Park ball diamonds. <br />Mr. Patrick clarified that the dollars for the repair of the diamonds will be taken from the General <br />Fund, not the Recreation fund. He suggested that Tom Agresta contact Gus Amendola so that Mr. <br />Amendola could oversee what he is doing. <br />Mr. Amendola will contact two contractors regarding prices on grading. To date he has only <br />received figures on the sand, gravel, and clay for the fields. <br />Mrs. Mills read a letter froni Mayor D'Amico about a 7-year-old boy who was terminally ill and <br />wanted to receive enough get well cards to get into the Guiness Book of Records. <br />Mr. Fixler in the audience stated that CNN is requesting that everyone stop sending cards. He said <br />the boy has already received cards in excess of the amount required to get him into the Guiness <br />Book of Records and that the mailinen are having difficulty complering their regular mail delivery <br />because of the tremendous numbers of cards being sent. <br />Mrs. Mills asked if legislation should be prepared for the increase in construction bonds for streets. <br />This legislation will be discussed at tlle next Ordinance Review Committee Meeting. <br />Mrs. Mills asked if Coiincil would make a motion to approve refreshments for the Recycling <br />Committee. <br />Mr. Rinker, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, mlde a morion to approve the expenditure of no more than <br />$50 for refreshments for the Recycling Committee. <br />ROLL CALL: A1'ES: A11 <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 90-26, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br />171.04 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, INCREASING <br />THE FEES FOR TIIE CERTIFICAT.T OF REGISTRATION FOR PLACES THAT PROVIDE <br />LODGING OF TRANSIENT GUESTS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY."
