<br />Regular Council Meering <br />10/15/90 <br />Page 10 <br />First Reading of Resolurion No 90-69, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TBE <br />MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WTTH TTIE <br />MAYFIELD CI'I'Y SCHOOL DISTRICT PERTAINING TO TBE REPAIR AND USE OF TBE <br />BASEBALL FIELD ADJACENT TO TBE MAYFIELD CENTER SCHOOL AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by 1Vlayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Ramos read the resolution in title. <br />Mr. Fixler said the Village will share this cost with the School Boazd; $5,000 will be paid by <br />Mayfield Village, $5,000 will be paid by the School Board. <br />Mr. Ramos said the legislation will authorize the Finance Director to expend $9,988 to Artistic <br />Landscape Design Incorporated. The Mayf'ield City School District will reimburse the Village for <br />one-half the cost up to $5,000. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a <br />resolution to be read on three sepazate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 90-69. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Morion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted (in tide) <br />Mayor Carmen said that Mr. Fixler is to be commended for working with the School Board. <br />Mayor Carmen said that the Village needs assurance from the School Board that it can use the <br />fields and needs to formalize some type of an agreement. <br />Mr. Ramos said that he talked to Dr. Stabile about what type of agreement to draft. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she feels the school should come first, and the Village should come second for use <br />of those two diamonds. <br />Mr. Ramos will prepare a memorandum agreement between the Village and the School Boazd. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE CO CIL <br />Mayor Carmen said that Department Heads will be submitting their capital improvement items for <br />the budget. The 1991 budget should be completed by December so the budget should be in place <br />by the beginning of the year. <br />Mr. Rinker asked what was going on with the municipal complex.
