Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Entire <br />Council. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to table Ordinance <br />No. 89-7. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Tabled <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-8, entitled;, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 1313.03 AND 1313.06 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, PERMITTING SUSPENSION OF CONTRACTORS REGISTRATION WITH <br />THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. Introduced by <br />Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council. <br />Mr. Ramos suggested that this ordinance be placed on first reading and <br />discussed at the next Council Caucus. He said that the legislation is <br />similar to legislation that Highland Heights enacted. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 89-7, entitled; "A RESOLUTION PROVIDING <br />FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF AN ENGINEER FOR MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Entire <br />Council. <br />Mr. Flynn recommended that Council hold off on the passage of all of <br />the salary legislation until next Monday. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 89-8, entitled; "A RESOLUTION RE- <br />ESTABLISHING CONDITIONS AND COMPENSATION FOR THE DIRECTOR OF LAW AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Entire <br />Council. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 89-9, entitled; "A RESOLUTION RE- <br />ESTABLISHING TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND COMPENSATION FOR THE SERVICES OF <br />THE PROSECUTOR AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen <br />and the Entire Council. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 89-10, entitled; "A RESOLUTION <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO VALLEY FORD TRUCK <br />SALES INC. FOR REPAIRS TO THE 1972 FORD COMPACT TRUCK." Introduced by <br />Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council. <br />Mr. Amendola said that the engine is not made anymore and Valley Ford <br />located an engine which was the only they could find. He cited many of <br />the repairs that were made to the vehicle. Mr. Amendola said that the <br />total overall cost of repairs was considerably less than purchasing a <br />new vehicle would be. <br />Mr. Flynn said he would suggest that Council move ahead and pass the <br />resolution now if the other members of Council agree.
