<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />7/17/89 <br />Page 7 <br />Mr. Basile excused Mr. Feneli- <br />Assistant Service Director - Mr. Basile asked when the test would be <br />given. <br />Mayor Carmen said he met with the Civil Service Commission but were <br />discussing other matters. He asked if Mr. Amendola had the date. <br />Mr. Amendola said they had submitted the job description to the man who <br />will be giving the test but have not heard when the test will be given. <br />Mayor Carmen said he assumes the test will be given very shortly. <br />New Village Signs - Mayor Carmen said that Mr. Kotoch had said he had <br />names of individuals who could give additional estimates for new signs. <br />He asked Donna to call Mr. Kotoch to find out their names and to have <br />them come in to look at the drawing we have to see if we could get <br />other bids. <br />Spaghetti Company <br />Mr. Petschauer said that several residents have contacted him regarding <br />the Spaghetti Company debris. He said there is a refrigerator or <br />freezer behind the building and it seems the owner is in violation of a <br />number of things. His dumpster is overflowing and they have seen <br />rodents and he feels it is an unsanitary condition. <br />Mayor Carmen said he would like to know what the specific complaints. <br />He said that one complaint that he had heard was regarding their truck <br />being parked in the back of the building. He said that when he parked <br />in the front he was told that he couldn't park it in the front, when he <br />parked on the side, he was told he couldn't park it on the side that he <br />must park it in the back. He said he agrees that he can't park it on <br />the front or the side but we must let him park it somewhere. <br />Mr. Petschauer said he had just seen the truck parked in the front <br />about an hour ago. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Amendola to check the property once a week and <br />report to him so he could report back to Council. <br />Mr. Amendola reported that they were a monthly stop for the Board of <br />Health also. He asked that when Council receives calls of this nature <br />that they call him the day they receive the call. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 89-20, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 1501.13 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />PERTAINING TO THE INSTALLATION OF KEY BOXES ON PROPERTIES PROTECTED BY <br />AUTOMATIC ALARM SYSTEMS." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a <br />Whole. (First Reading 6/19/89.)
