He said he understands this
item is under the category of "Old Business" on tonight's agenda and
would ask that Council allow the project to be finished.
Leinke Pierce - Upper Forties Drive, said she has been gone for a year.
When she returned, she found work being done on Aintree North. Mrs.
Pierce said that she wants it to be on record that she feels by making
this ditch a chute to her property the water problem is being pushed up
to them and to the Metro Park. She asked why the surveyors flags were
on her property and would like to ask that people be told not to come
on her property and cut down trees.
Mr. Amendola said that he is quite familiar with what Mrs. Pierce is
talking about. He said they went on her property after the June 2nd
storm and removed several trees that were laying over the creek causing
a problem. He said they were told not to go any futher and they have
nnot. The only other reason they were on her property was when he and
Council walked the creek at the end of May.
Mr. Wolszynek said that part of Phase 2 for the Aintree improvement
included the cleaning out of the pipes. They also had to shoot grades
to be able to match the existing grades and find the existing flow.
The survey crew could have put sticks there to mark where they were _
going to work.
Mr. Basile asked Mr. Wolszynek to see that the flags are removed.
Mr. Wolszynek said that he would.
Mrs. Pierce said that there comes a point when they are going to hold
us responsible for what is being done to them and to the other people
downstream.
