M:11? <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />September 18, 1989 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, <br />September 18, 1989, at 8:03 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the <br />Village Hall. Council President Santo Basile presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, <br />Mr. Petschauer, Mr. Rinker, and Mr. Santoro <br />Absent: Mayor Carmen <br />Also Present Were: Mr. Amendola, Mr. Hovancsek, Mr. Patrick, Mr. <br />Ramos, Chief Mohr, Chief Stevens (8:08 p.m.), <br />and Miss Heath. <br />The Pledge of tillegiance to the Flag was given. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Pat Minor, 1764 L_yndhurst Road, Lyndhurst - said she would like to ask <br />Council when she could expect an answer to the letter she had written <br />to them dated May 31. She said she felt she had been patient long <br />enough and would appreciate an answer one way or another. <br />Mr. Ramos said that he had answered her original letter. Following his <br />. reply she had written a note to Council asking for their <br />reconsideration. Mr. Ramos said that Council had discussed her letter <br />and that it msy have been an oversite that no.one responded to her <br />letter to Council telling her of Council's decision. <br />Mr. Basile said that Council's decision was the same as Mr. Ramos's. <br />He explained how a similar situation would be handled in industry, that <br />' retroactive compensation would not be given. <br />Mrs. Minor said that there were three items to be addressed in the <br />second letter. She said that she had received a corrected copy of <br />the resolution but it was without a letter of explanation. <br />Mr. Ramos said if Mrs. Minor needs further explanation he would be <br />happy to write a letter to further explain the position of Council and <br />would be happy to answer her letter of May if that would help. <br />Chief Stevens arrived at this time. (8:08 p.m.) <br />Mrs. Minor said that the letter she received from Mr. Ramos indicated <br />? that it was Council's decision and he said that her request was for <br />service not rendered so that was why she posed the question to Council. <br />Discussion was held.
