5 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF TBE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCII. <br />Mayfield Village <br />January 20, 1992 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, January 20, 1992. <br />Council President Bruce Rinker presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, Mr. Flynn, <br />and Mr. Rinker <br />Absent: Mr. Basile <br />Also Present: Mayor Pietrafese, Mr. Amendola (8:03 p.m.), Mr. Diemert, <br />Mr. Hovancsek, Mr. Patrick, Lt. Jay, Chief Mohr, and Miss <br />Heath <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Martin Comella 673 Roblev Lane, said you were insmzmental in passing legislation to <br />allow them to build; and deprived all residents the right to vote on that. The ordinance says <br />31/2 not 5 1/2 stories. He thinks it should be put on the ballot. <br />A man in the audience (Mr. Basconi) said, regarding the distribution of event tickets, that <br />he would like to know how many dollazs have been spent and the total number of tickets <br />purchased; who and how many time each individual received tickets; were the tickets <br />donated at random; does Mayor and Council have the authority to approve such use of <br />taxpayers' money; and is the donation subject to taxation. <br />Mr. Patrick said it would be a big help to him if the gendeman would give him the list <br />Mr. Basconi asked when he intends to answer. <br />Mr. Patrick said he will get to him as quickly as possible. <br />Mayor Pietrafese said Mr. Patrick will have the answers for you by 6 p.m. Wednesday. <br />Mayor Pietrafese said he thinks the amount of dollazs spent was approximately $6- <br />7000,000 per year. As far as a breakdown, that will take some research. <br />Jeanne LM121a. Worton Park, said she has a list of the next ten meetings we were notified <br />of from October 17 through December 30 regarding the Progressive expansion in which we <br />notified our neighborhood people of. Many of these things were discusses at those <br />meetings. <br />Mayor Pietrafese said there will be a meeting tomorrow night, January 21, at <br />7 p.m. in the Community Room to rehash the decisions about Progressive. <br />Mr. Rinker said the entire community should have received notificarion. He encourages <br />everyone to come. It should be an informative meeting.
