13 <br />Regular Council Meering <br />1/20/92 <br />Page 9 <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 92-04. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />(As Amended) <br />First Reading of Resolurion No. 92-05, enritled; "An emergency resolurion consenting to <br />the transfer of the Cable T.V. franchise agreement and cable systems assets." Introduced <br />by Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Rinker said that this item will be on the Ordinance Review agenda Monday for <br />discussion. <br />Resolution No. 92-06, entitled; "A Resolution of Appreciation to Patsy Mills." Introduced <br />by Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a morion to adopt Resolution No. 92-06. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Fenante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mr. Rinker <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolurion Adopted <br />Mr. Rinker said he wanted to personally thank Patsy Mills for all the time she spent. <br />ANY OTIHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Senior Snow Removal <br />John Schwartz from Prog,ressive Landscape said they have been plowing on rime but some <br />snows have been late. If they plow during the day they try to get done by 6 p.m. That has <br />not been the case recently because they have had later snowfalls. T'hey need five hours to <br />get done with all 400 drives. They have not had the proper time needed to be done by 6 <br />p.m. He requested that phone ca11s come to them. As soon as they receive calls, they take <br />care of them. <br />Mr. Ferrante noted that the first snow started during the night. He did not get plowed until <br />9:20 p.m. On the second, he did not get plowed until about 6 p.m. The third time he was <br />done properly. Today was the only day he had two plowings. <br />Mr. Pietrafese asked that they try to give us a little better service. He said these are senior <br />people who are important to us. <br />Mr. Rinker suggested they deliver a card to those seniors on the program with information <br />such as their pager number so they can get in touch with them better. <br />Mayor Pietrafese suggested they check to make sure everyone participating in the program <br />has stakes.
