INFORMAL DETAII;ED NOTES. <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />FOR WORKSHOP PURPOSES <br />Page 3 <br />Mayor Pietrafese: The LaContes had it appraised two years ago but we have not seen it. <br />Paragraph 3- re annual scenic easement--retain as is--annual scenic easement fee of <br />$25,000 would be paid out no matter what. <br />Mr. Rinker: explained the right of first refusal. <br />Mayor Pietrafese: This meeting was called tonight because they want everyone's in-depth <br />input. <br />Paragraph 5- Mr. Ferrante: What type of account will this be put in? <br />Mayor Pietrafese: It will be paid direcdy to them. <br />Mr. Fixler: In addirion to that would there be a lien? <br />Mayor Pietrafese: T'his contract would be the lien. <br />Mr. Rinker: This would be recouped. <br />Paragraph 6- Mr. Rinker said the windows of opportunity would be during the Sth, <br />lOth, 15th, and 20th years which is a mechanism whereby Parkview would entertain offers <br />if they find a bonaf'ide offer. Also mentioned methods of calculating credits. <br />Paragraph 7- Mr. Rinker: this is regarding a moratorium of one yeaz--that we'd not sell <br />for one year after we purchased. Thereafter, there would be no such restriction. <br />Mr. Busa: Is it necessary; thinks clauses and conditions are all against us. <br />Paragraph 8: Mr. Rinker: Refers to upgrading the existing clubhouse. <br />Mr. Flynn: Requests the Village Engineer be included in these discussions. Suggests <br />adding that alterations to be submitted must be reviewed by the Building Commissioner and <br />Engineer. <br />Mr. Fenante: Would the clubhouse include a party room? <br />Mayor Pietrafese said they would have to bring this before Planning and Zoning. <br />Paragraph 9: Comparable to #8. <br />Mr. Rinker: That could be worth revising. Thinks it is a valid point that requires additional <br />consideration. Maybe they should put additional language in there to clarify. The intent <br />was not to waive those zoning requirements. <br />Mr. Kotoch: The word "reasonable" is a"Pandora's Box." He would also address the <br />square footage.
