He
would like to refer some of the items that were taken care of at the Architectural Review Boazd to
Councilman Fixler.
Nfr. Fixler said he attended the last Architectural Review Board meering because he looked at the
C.E.I. building and felt it was not something he was proud to have in Mayfield Village. He
presented his position to the board and they said they really did not have something (such as
legislation) to prevent something like this in the future. There was some discussion of a Fine Arts
Committee that would take care of aesthetics such as approval of color renderings. Without
approval, they would be unable to go ahead with construction. Mr. Fixler asked if there is
something that could be drafted to prohibit something that would not be conducive to the area.
Mr. Diemert said he will obtain samples of legislation from other communities and see what he can
put together.
Mr. Rinker said that we want to have Rauschenbach & Casini come to the next Caucus. Site
selection is one of the items for discussion.
Municipal Complex - The Board was discussing possible sites for the new municipal complex.
Mr. Amendola said he has letters on file that were sent to Council and the Administration that
summarize various sites that are available. If Council would like copies of the correspondence, he
would be happy to provide them.
Mr. Fixler said the Architectural Review Board would like to get involved with this project along
with the azchitect we end up selecting.
Mr. Basile asked if a permit was issued to a house on Village Circle and if the $500 fee was
collected.
Boazd of AMeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a meering.
Cemeterv - Mr. Basile said he met with the other two people from the other communities. Trees
must be taken down and removed, trimming needs done, and stones need to be re-cemented.They
need a new mower, and would like to purchase a rnulching mower for $567.20. They need to
lcnow the boundaries of the cemetery and would like to know if we could have it surveyed and
have markers put in.
Mrs. Cinco said they were hoping one of the engineers from one of the communities would donate
their time.
