~~~ <br />Mr. Carmen volunteered as the alternatLe. <br />Insurance matter to be studied by the aw Depattment <br />Mayor Beebe said a meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, the 24th, <br />at 4:30 P.M. with Tom Keptner, Co-ordinator Gary Bill, and Joyce.Etzler <br />to discuss policy and financial matters. He would life representation <br />from Council as Well as. Mr. Beatty. <br />Mr. Spellman stated that he would be able to attend on Ta.ursday. <br />S afety & Service - Mr. Flynn commented that legislation is on the agenda <br />for two new police cars; mutual fire aid with adjacent communities. <br />The Service Building~is coming along fine. <br />Community Building - Mr. Amendola stated that he had taken the ori.gin.al <br />plans for the old salt shed and modified them with an addition being <br />proposed for the front. New drawings have been submitted to. the. Mayor <br />and President fo Council for their review and distribution :.• <br />M ayor Beebe explained that there is a definite need for a Village Community <br />room as the Council Chambers should be for business only. Sixace the old <br />salt shed is available, a comm~i.ttee.has been formed to~study.-the needs. <br />Mr. Flynn commented that the Safety & Service Committee will be meeting <br />the ]First Monday of every month with a few exceptions that will be noted <br />on the calendar. ~~ <br />OLD BUSYNESS - <br />Meadowood Storm Outlet - Pipe has been delivered and Mr. Hovancseklspoke <br />with the contractor and he should be starting the work this week.. Once. <br />the work begins,"the job should be completed in a short time. <br />Wildwood Trail Road Repair - Mr. Hovancsek said he had received confir= <br />mation from the testing laboratory that they would hold the testing <br />cores until further notice. ~ ~-.... <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated that authorization is needed for the installation <br />of gas lines,. - .. <br />Motion passed-without objection. <br />Mr. Flynn questioned if the permit fees are adequate; Mf. Hovancsek re- <br />plied that they were. - <br />There being no objections., Mayor-Beebe to sign the forms authorizing <br />the installation. <br />Metro P ark.W ater Re-Routing - Nothing to report at this time. <br />Ordinace 80-2, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO ENTER A CONTRACT FOR. HOSPITALIZATION FOR <br />EMPLOYEES OF THE VILLAGE WITH THE PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY." <br />Introduced by Mayor and Council as a Whole. . <br />
