Introduced by Council as,a Whole. <br />Mr Flynn.~complimented.Mr. Feneli on the preparation of-this, resolution. <br />and read .the resolution. r <br />Mr..Boger commented,that the present Ohairman of the P.U.C.O. hh.s resigned. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. .Boger, made a motion to. suspend the rules~of <br />law requiring a.resolution to be read on three .separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: `All <br />NAYS: None ~ Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Spellman,~seconded by Miss..Trask, made a motion. to pass Resolution 80-8. <br />. ~ _t-,! <br />Roll Call: AYES: All .. <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mr. Spellman stated that he had .written to Senator McCormick for a <br />petition and needs.Counc~il's support. ' <br />Given First Reading. - <br />COMMENTS FR~7M.THE FLOOR =:Where were no comments. <br />COMMENTS FROM .THE DEPARTMENT HEADS AND OFFICT.BLS <br />Mr. Hovancsek reported on a meeting scheduled for Friday,: January 25th <br />in the Mayors office at.10:00 A.M. with N.E.O.R.S..D.`.for discussion,of <br />sewer assessments. <br />He would be calling the County with re to the local maintenance charge <br />and sewage charge - which means two sewer bills. He would report to <br />Council on this. <br />Chief Stevens complimented. Council for passing the mutual aid fire pro- <br />tection legislation - it's-too bad the same legislation could not be <br />considered for the police protection. <br />Chief He.jcl invited all to s.ee the new Fire Vehicle. - <br />
