_~®°~ ;- <br />1 <br />1 <br />Mayor Beebe asked the process of swearing~in new members. <br />Mr. Spellman stated there are four potential members to be <br />sworn in and he would prefer. it to take place at the Organizational <br />Council in January. - <br />Community Building - Mrs.. Hanus stated theice is.a meeting <br />scheduled for November 19th at 8:00 P.M. in the Mayor's Chambers. <br />This meeting will be to~~discuss ideas of money-making projects <br />for the new .building. She will have more to report following <br />this meeting... <br />Cable T.V. - Mr. Carmen stated the decision is now .between two. <br />companies ~ Cablevision and Viacom. He is awaiting the <br />proposal from Viacom '(which he was informed he would receive this <br />week) to interview both candidates and mare a decision. <br />OLD BUS INE~S:S .::.~ .. • . ~ :, - • -... - r .: _ - <br />Mr. Feneli stated that two bids were received from the Love <br />Insurance Agency for municipal comprehensive liability insurance. <br />(1) Buckeye Union Insurance $14,933.00-(1 yr. premium) <br />(2) Personal Service Insurance $12,330.80-(1 Yr. premium) <br />He stated that.the amount of the premium would .be added in Section 2 <br />of the Ordinance when Council chooses which one of the insurance <br />companies they prefer.. <br />Mr. Bennett asked for the recommendation of the Finance Directa.r. <br />Mr. Beatty stated he would recommend Personal Service Insurance, <br />as their premium amount is approximately $2,600.00 less. <br />Mr. Flynn questioned what this insurance policy covers specifically. <br />Mr. Beatty read the:list of the insurance coverage-. <br />Ordinance 80.-62 ,_ entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT .TO <br />LOVE INSURANCE AGENCY AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR MUNICIPAL <br />COMPREHENSIVE LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced by Council as a Whole. ~: ~. <br />Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />
