Also, he had <br />received instructions from the County that the County will be <br />taking care of Lander/Ridgebury. <br />Mr. Flynn - questioned what part the County will have iri snow <br />removal. <br />Mr. Amendola stated they will be laying salt on Wilson Mills, <br />White, and Highland roads. <br />Chief Hejcl - stated a new record has been set for calls, in the <br />24 hour period, the previous record was five and is now six. <br />Mr. Busa - asked Mr. Bennett if they were going to discuss the <br />new Ordinances they received tonight. <br />Mr. Bennett stated the Ordinances will be discussed in the <br />Executive Session. <br />Mayor Beebe - commented on the continual problems of the Beech <br />Hill plant, spilling sewage into Gates Mills, and another break <br />on Wilson Mills. <br />Mr. Carmen - stated that th:e residents of Washington Blvd. <br />Extension, off Ridgebury, have expressed desire for paving of <br />their street, and have also expressed. willingness to pay the " <br />expense. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated he had written a letter to the Village <br />regard-ing this matter. He. also stated tYiat the approximate <br />cost would be $250.00 a foot to pave the street, and the cost <br />assessment would have to be absorbed by one side of the street <br />only. This is because half of the street belongs to the Board <br />of Education who has already stated they will not pay for this <br />expense. <br />Further discussion was held and Steve Hovancsek to discuss the <br />matter with the residents of theestreet and report-back to <br />Council. <br />Mr. Beatty - commented that Mr. Amendola started his winter <br />schedule just in time (because of the snow). <br />Mr. Bennett stated Mr. Amendola and Mr. Hovancsek did not have <br />to attend the Executive Session. <br />The meeting went into Executive Session at 8:52 P.M. <br />::~_: <br /> <br />
