<br />NEW BUS.INESS <br />Ordinance 81-6, entitled; "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE SUBMITTING TO <br />THE ELECTORATE OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE AN AMENDMENT TO THE MAYFIELD <br />j7ILLAGE CHARTER REGARDING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR AND ESTABLISHING A <br />SPECIAL ELECTION.". Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Miss Trask, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of.law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. ° <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />? <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Bennett asked if there were any comments for discussion. <br />There were none, <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Miss Trask, made a motion to pass Ordinance <br />81-6. <br />, <br />Roll Call: AYE5: All <br />. . ,, <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Feneli stated that the Charter Review Commission agreed to <br />these changes. Eloise Maynard to certify to_the County after <br />the Planning and Zoning Workshop at the end of this month, as <br />they may have an item for certification also. He stated the <br />items that will appear on the ballot: will be returned to the <br />Law Office by the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections for review. <br />A decision.will be.made at the next Council Meeting whether the <br />ballot issues will be published or mailed. Ordinance 81-71 entitled,; "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A <br />PETTY CASH FUND FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT.:" Introduced by Council <br />as a Whole. ' <br />Mra Spellman asked Mr. Feneli to explain Section 2 of the Ordinance. <br />Mr. Feneli explained that the $100.00 balance mus:t be kept.,in the <br />fund at all times. He stated the only other requirement is that <br />Mr. Louis Laurenti of the State Auditor's Office receive a copy <br />of the ordinance after it is passed. <br />Further discussion.was held regarding the amount which could be <br />spent each day.
