He.expressed a <br />few reasons for the objection. <br />Mr. Bennett stated he liad received a letter from a company in th& <br />Industrial Park requesting retail sal.es. He stated he had <br />discussed this witYi the Law Director who stated there could be <br />absolutely no retail sales in the Industrial Park. <br />Recreation/MARC - Mr. Spellman stated he at.tended .the M.A.R.C. <br />° <br />Meeting of March 5. He reported that Irene Kay is the new <br />treasurer of M.A.R.C. Mr. Spellman stated that he and A1 Scaccia <br />plan to donate some of their time to the Art Show in October. He <br />also reported on the Recreation Meeting of.February.18., that plans <br />for Easter were discussed. He stated .that baseball registration ` <br />will be at Mayfield High School.•on March 18 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. <br />with a brief recreation meeting to follow registration. ` <br />Safety & Service.- Miss.Trask stated that 5afety & 5ervice-me.t . <br />with the-three department heads on March 2nd to`discuss btidget <br />requests. She stated that a`list Iiad been submitted by eachn <br />department,.:- <br />Communitv Buildina_- Mrs. Hanus reported on the meeting of <br />February 26, that plans fo'r the Village Garage Sale were d.iscussed. <br />5he stated that a flier Yiad been sent out and that possibly another <br />flier would be sent. She repor.ted that donations had started to.be <br />taken in.. She stated that per Mayor Beebe's.suggestion they would_ <br />be staying'open from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday to-receive <br />donations. Mrs.. Hanus.asked Council to do their spring cleaning <br />early so they might find items to donate to the garage saTe..- <br />OLD BUSINESS ° Resolution 81-9, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REAR YARD. <br />DR.AINAGE WORK ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF HICKORY HILL WEST.OF WOODBINE <br />CIRCLE IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE THOUSAND TWO. HLTNDRED DOLLARS ($ 3., 200.,00 ), <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor.and Council.as a. <br />Whole.
