Further discussion was held regarding the maintenance etc, of the <br />car and the value it would have to the Police Department. Mr. - <br />Flynn questioned the two unmarked cars the Police Department now <br />owns and who would be using the third car. Chief Stevens stated <br />it would be used by the pre.sent staf.f, involving no overtime. <br />It was decided that the matter would be discussed further at the <br />Safety and Service Meeting and would be brought up again at the <br />Caucus. <br />Mrm Busa questioned how we stand with the Russo suit. <br />Mr. Feneli to get back to him with an answer. <br />Discussion was held regarding the Bike Path, that Coia.ncil may ` <br />receive some flack from residents about their grass being torn up. <br />Mr. Amendola stated that new grass was planted at Whitehaven <br />Cemetery and there are plans to install a safety rail so that <br />people do not make U-turns. TYie bike path will be beyond the rail. <br />Mr. Feneli stated that,per the Mayor's request he was trying to <br />have an.updaleJ ori Arc-o. '`He s?t`ated 'that he was being ignored, but <br />is trying to collect the money without litigation, and he has tried <br />to work with Joe Beranek but has not been able to get in touch with <br />him. <br />Mr. Carmen questioned the possibility of attaching a truck as <br />previously discussed. <br />Mr. Feneli stated it has not yet gotten to that point.. He stated <br />he had nothing further to report at this time re Areo: - <br />Mre Feneli stated that Council would receive in their packet a <br />report and a map from Mr. Avery on sewer litigation. <br />Council authorized Mr. Feneli to prepare legislation for the <br />National Institute of Law Offices to restrict Civil Rights. <br />Mayor Beebe commented on the bad road conditions of Beechers <br />Brook and Beech Hill. He stated that two outoof ten people agree <br />to be assessed, and that Mr. Hovancsek had the amount of the <br />assessments, which would be approximately $10,000.00 to be ten <br />shares over a ten year period. <br />
