to ? <br />a? y <br /> <br />CLOSING COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR AND OFFICIALS <br />Mr. Spellman questioned when we could expect to receive the <br />data from Haskins and Sells. <br />Mr. Avery to check on this, as neither he or Mrs. Ruggles had <br />an answer at this time. • <br />Mrs. Hanus - stated that since the last meeting she has made a study <br />of the bike path area being planned. She stated that she feels that <br />S.O.M. Center Road is the worst place to put a bike path as the <br />road narrows after Sandalwood and she feels it would not be safe. <br />She proposed a bike path for Beta Drive onto S.O.M. - to the baseball <br />field. SYie stated that in discussion with a couple of residents, <br />they too, fe&l they would not allow their children to ride on the <br />bike path. ., , <br />. . . :, , <br />Mr. Flynn stated that he had received a number of phone calls <br />from residents who w.ere happy to liear that the bike path is <br />being started. <br />Further discussion was held, the possibility of the bike path <br />going down the left side of S.O.M. Center was mentioned. <br />Mr. Amendola stated that this was not possible, giving several <br />reasons why not. He also stated the plans for the bike path, <br />as discussed at previous meetings. <br />Mrs. Hanus stated that she would like to change her vote, from <br />affirmative to negative, taken at the April 20 Council Meeting, <br />instructing Mr. Amendola to start tYae::-work for the bike path. <br />Mr. Amendola to continue with the bike path as planned. He is <br />to give notification to Mrs. Ruggles of costs involved. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at <br />8:30 P.M. <br />
