<br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL ' <br />Village of Mayfield <br />June 1, 1981 <br />The Gouncil of the Village of Mayfield met in Special Session on <br />Monday, June lst, 1981 at 7:40 P.M. in the Village Hall, pursuant <br />to a written notice delivered to all Councilpersons on May 29, 1981. <br />President Pro Tem, Lawrence J. Flynn, presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Flynn, Spellman, Mrs. <br />Hanus °and Miss Trask <br />Absent r None <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Beebe, Mr. Feneli, Mrs. Ruggles, and <br />Mrs. Maynard, Chief Hejcl and Chief Stevens <br /> Mr. Flynn stated that the meeting had been called for the purpose <br /> of discussing financial matters, certain litigation, and any other <br /> matter coming before Council. <br /> Mr. Flynn stated that the Safety and Service Meeting scheduled to <br /> follow tonight's Special Council Meeting, has been cancelled, <br /> thereby excusing Chicf Hejcl and Chief Stevens from the meeting. <br />Ordinance 81-25, entitled; "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO ISSUE NOTES <br />IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND <br />DOLLARS ($230,000.00) IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR <br />THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUND5 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SERVICE - <br />BUILDING AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS THEREFOR." Introduced by Council <br />as a Whole. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Miss Trask, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Flynn, Mrs. Hanus and <br />Miss Trask <br />NAYS: Mro Spellman Motion Carried .. <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn asked Council'and Mrs: Ruggles if tliey had any_comments' <br />for discussion regarding this orc7.inance. <br />Mrs. Ruggles stated that this ordinance must be passed tonight.
