'. <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in Special Session-on. <br />Thursday, June 25, 1981,.at 8:08 P.M. in the Village Hall.? <br />Council.Presiderit, Lawrence J. Flynn, presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Etzler, Flynn, <br />Spellman, and Miss Trask <br />Absent : Mrs. Hanus <br /> <br /> <br />Also Preserit Were . Mayor Beebe, Mr. Avery, Mrs, Ruggles, and <br />. Mrs. Maynard <br />Mr, Flyrin stated .that the mee.ting had been.called for- the..purpose <br />of passirig the ordinances _amending .Ordinarices-.81-25..and '81-26.; and <br />an emergency ordinance authorizing-.a contract f-or tYie-Financial. <br />Consultant for th.e Village: <br />Ordinance 81-33, entitled; "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION <br />3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 81-25 TO ELIMINATE THE PROVISION THAT THE NOTES <br />ISSUABLE PURSUANT TO SAID ORDINANCE NO, 81-25 IN THE AGGREGATE <br />PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($230,000.00) <br />IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING <br />FUNDS_FOR THE,CONSTRUCTION OF A SERVICE BUILDING AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS <br />THEREFOR SHALL BE REDEEMABLE AT THE OPTION OF THE VILLAGE PRIOR TO <br />MATURITY." Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Miss Trask, seconded,by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. . Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Etzler, Flynn, Spellman, <br />and Miss Trask NAYS: None <br /> <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn asked Council if there were any.comments or discussion <br />regarding this ordinance. <br />Mr. Busa questioned why the ordinances were changed.
