Mayor Beebe suggested an addition to the ordinance would be - to <br />give Council the authority to waive one Regular.Meeting of Council <br />per year. -. - Mr. Spellman suggested,.the addition.of.= a rule stating.that theo <br />President Pro Tem would automatically became..the_Council Presiden.t <br />should a vacancy occur. <br />Mr. Flynn stated that, regarding the pay ordinance,lor.igirially_ the <br />Auxiliary Police Officers received $500.00 clothing allowance and <br />the pay ordinance now states. that they. wi1T: receive. $350.00. 'H:e,. <br />stated that the matter was discussed with Mxs. Ruggles and the -" <br />Finance Committee and.this had•been an oversight and an amendment <br />should be made'.to bring the amount back up to $500.00. <br />There were no objections from Council. V <br />Mrs. Ruqgles stated this amendment should be accepted so the <br />Auxiliary Officers could receive their checks.
