Mayor Beebe stated"he would like to cbmpliment the Sun Messenger regarding their article of, the. week before. Mr. Feneli clarified the residents will.be,informed about the issues that will be on the ballot by a direct mailing so there will be no need for an ad to be placed in the newspaper. NEW BUSINESS Mr. Flynn stated he would like to amend the agends to include a Resolution of Appreciation for Mr. Philip Lazzaro, former member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, who resigned.this month. Mayor Beebe stated Mr. L"azzaro had done an excellent job as - Chairman of the Commission. He stated_Mr. Lazzaro will be moving in August due to a job transfer. Resolutioii 81-40; entitled; "A"RESOLUTION OF APPRECIP,TION TO' PHILIP LAZZARO." Mayor Beebe read the Resolution of Appreciation. Mr. Feneli to have the Resolution retyped'on one`'page. Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mr. Etzler; made a motiom to adopt Resolution 81-40. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted Mayor Beebe stated he will be in touch with a Mr. Cherosky to " attend the next Council Meeting to be appointed as a new member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. CLOSING COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR AND OFFICIALS Mr. Hovancsek stated he attended a meeting of the County Engineers. He stated that between now and October lst the portion of Highland Road from Bishop to SOM Center Road'will be tarred. He stated
