<br />Ordinance 81-52, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1119.11 <br />OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, ESTABLISHING <br />MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET TREES". <br />Introduced by Mayor Robert G. Beebe. <br />Mr. Busa,,seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motibn to suspend the <br />rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three <br />separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Busa, Etzler, Flynn, Spellman, and <br />Miss Trask <br />NAYS: Mr. Carmen Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to pass Ordinance <br />81-52. <br />Mr. Flyrin asked if there were any comments for discussion regarding <br />this ordinance. <br />Discussion was held regarding the difference between the suspension <br />of rules and an ordinance declaring an emergency. Mr. Feneli <br />explained that when.the rules are suspended but the ordinance does <br />not have an emergency clause that the public has a 30 day referendum <br />period in which they may object to the ordinance. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Regular Meeting of September 21, 1981 - Mr. Flynn stated that there <br />being no objections, the minutes stand passed unanimously. Fire Department Roof <br /> <br />Mayor Beebe stated Council should have received copies of the two <br />bids for the Fire Department roof in their Friday packet. He <br />stated the low bidder was the Regency Company. Mayor Beebe stated <br />Mr. Amendola has reviewed the specifications and Chief Hejcl has <br />chosen the shingles. He stated the job if to be started ten days <br />from the acceptance of the bid, the completion date to be October 26. <br />
