<br />Euclid Industries <br />Mr. Feneli explained that Euclid Industries has asked the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission to continue the development of <br />their property to the 40%.they are permitted which would not <br />allow them enough.parking spaces under our code. They would <br />be.110 parking spaces short. He stated through discussion at <br />several meetings a formula was determined for a parking variance. <br />of one parking space per employee, which would allow them to <br />have no more than 150 total employees. He stated Euclid <br />Industries has.agreed to have this maximum number of employees <br />listed in the variance. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated the Planning & Zoning Commission has agreed <br />to grant a variance to Euclid Industries with the one parking <br />space per employee (150 maximum) stipulation. He stated the <br />Planning.& Zoning Commission is recommending that Council grant <br />the variance. <br />Mr..Flynn stated the matter would be taken up at the next Regular <br />Meeting of Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Flynn asked Mrs. Ruggles to explain the ordinance to amend <br />ordinances 81-14 and 81-51 regarding the appropriation of funds <br />for 1981. <br />Mrs. Ruggles explained this ordinance is to amend the appropriations <br />ordinarice which is an adjustment that is made to clear out any <br />over-expenditures made throughout the year 1981. She stated this <br />ordinance must be passed this year. <br />Mr. Feneli to prepare an ordinance from the suggested ordinance <br />given to him by Mrs. Ruggles. <br />Discussion was held regarding the areas where over-expenditures <br />were made, one of the major expenses being overtime in the <br />Administration, Police and Fire Departrnents. Mr. Busa suggested <br />this topic be discussed.with the Department Heads at the Meeting <br />scheduled for Tuesday evening December 15th. <br />Discussion was also held regarding a forthcoming ordinance to <br />provide temporary appropriations for the year 1982, which Council <br />did not feel should be done. <br />Resolution 81-66, entitled; "A RESOLUTION OPPOSING INCREASES IN <br />SERVICE RATES FOR TELEPHONE SERVICE AS PROPOSED BY THE OHIO BELL <br />TELEPHONE C0." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole.
