Organizational Council Meeting <br />1-6-97 <br />Page Two <br />Mayor Rinker administered the oath of office to Joanne M. Cinco as Council President Pro Tem. <br />Mr. Brett requested a special meeting be called next week (Caucus night--January 13) to <br />consider ordinances 97-1 and 97-2. Also, for an Executive Session to discuss real estate and <br />personnel matters. <br />Council had no objections to calling a special meeting. <br />Mayor Rinker said there are a lot of term expirations. He expects to get the list to Council in the <br />packet this weekend. He wants Phil Brett and Doug Metzung to discuss the animal warden. <br />Council must make two appointments to the Commission on Aging-Council's appointments of <br />Alma Winkle and Emil Wierber expired December 315`. Mayor Rinker noted other committee <br />appointments to be made by the Council President. <br />Council President Fixler said he would like to have all the committee appointments determined <br />prior to Monday's meeting. He does not anticipate any major changes and will be contacting <br />Council members. Council President Fixler asked the Council members to give him a call if <br />they do not hear from him. <br />Mayor Rinker said we need to coordinate community consciousness about decisions we are <br />going to make relative to the northwest quadrant. <br />Mr. Ferrante said he will be on vacation from January 15 through mid-February. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to adjourn. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m. <br />MAFJC?FIXLEI?`PkESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />DONNA J.
