Regular Council Meeting <br />1-27-97 <br />Page 15 <br /> <br />? <br />? <br /> <br />Mr. Marquardt said he thinks we need to keep track of the contractors. Today, one was parked <br />on Highland facing west opposing traffic at 5:15 p.m. in a white Suburban. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he will talk to them tomorrow. He suggested Chief Stevens issue a citation <br />if necessary. <br />Dr. Parker asked about the azeas that were dug up on Wilson Mills. He asked if residents were <br />notified the areas will be reseeded by the contractor. <br />Mr. Samac said the contractor must restore the areas to their original condition. Work can't be <br />completed until Spring. <br />W. Busa said the contractor working on the North County Line project is not keeping the street <br />clean. Also, they plowed mud to the center of the road and onto his car. <br />Council President Fixler suggested they use the street sweeper to keep the area clean-especially <br />before they leave the site for the weekend. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he has a meeting scheduled Thursday with the contractor and the County <br />Sanitary Engineer. He will talk to them about the problem and will also write another letter. <br />Mr. Busa asked about the microphorie system. <br />Mr. Metzung said it is complete. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she was contacted by the Government Affairs representative from C.E.I. about <br />passage of the resolution. <br />Council President Fixler said we will put it on the agenda next month. <br />Mayor Rinker thanked everyone for coming this evening.
