He
asked 1VIr. Ferrante to spell out the stipulations.
Mr. Ferrante said the stipulations from P&Z are as follows:
1) That a traffic study be done to approve the additional amount of cars that they will be parking;
2) The aesthetics of the building and landscaping;
3) P&Z would like this to be in stages and the western end of the building (the three-story
building) be done last;
4) The fire concerns from the Fire Department must be addressed.
Mrs. Cinco, seconded by 1VIr. Marquardt, made a motion to accept the recommendation of
Planning and Zoning to approve the parking expansion request from Progressive Insurance with
the above-stated conditions.
1V1r. So, they will do the western most deck last.
Council asked for clarification.
Mr. Dolence showed Council a diagram showing the three decks. He said this one [western most
deck] may be so expensive we may not do it.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Approval Caranted
(With contingencies stated above)
Turnout Gear
Mr. Hanculalc read the ordinance in title as follows:
Ordinance No. 97-33, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing a contract with Morning
Pride Corporation for the purchase of Fire Department Turnout Gear in the total amount of
$11,080.00 for ten sets."
