Minutes of the Organizational Meeting of Council <br />Monday, January 7, 2008 <br />Page 3 <br />• Election of Council President Pro Tem <br />Council President Buckholtz opened the floor for nominations for Council <br />President Pro Tem. <br />Mrs. Mills made a motion to nominate Tom Marrie to serve as Council President <br />Pro Tem for 2008. Dr. Parker seconded the motion. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any further nominations. There <br />were none. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any further discussion. There was <br />none. <br />Mrs. Mills made a motion to close the nominations. Dr. Parker seconded the <br />motion. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None 2008 Council <br />President Pro Tem <br />Elected <br />Mayor Rinker administered the oaths of office to Council President Buckholtz <br />and Council President Pro Tem Tom Marrie. <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must <br />first state their name and address. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any comments. There were none. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />There were no other matters before Council. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />There were no comments.
