Regular Council Meeting <br />5-19-08 <br />Page 8 <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2008-22, entitled ""An ordinance declaring improvements to <br />certain parcels of real property to be a public purpose, describing the public improvements to be <br />made to directly benefit such parcels, requiring the owners of the improvements thereon to make <br />service payments in lieu of taxes, authorizing an agreement with Heinen's, Inc., a corporation <br />headquartered in Ohio and having a business at 860 S.O.M. Center Road, establishing a <br />municipal public improvement tax increment equivalent fund for the deposit of such service <br />payments, and related authorizations pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Sections 5709.40, 5709.42 <br />and 5709.43; and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />This Ordinance will be left on First Read. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2008-23, entitled "An emergency ordinance creating Chapter <br />1523 of the Village's Codified Ordinances, entitled, Recovery of Emergency Response Costs." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />This Ordinance was tabled. <br />First Reacliniz of Resolution No. 2008-15, entitled "An Emergency Resolution supporting and <br />encouraging the General Assembly to pass House Bill 416 to ratify the Great Lakes Compact <br />without modification as soon as possible." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2008-15. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />First Reading of Resolution 110110. 2008-16, entitled "An Emergency Resolution in Opposition to <br />House of Representatives Bi113359." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made.a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2008-16. <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br /> <br /> <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion.
