Special Council Meeting 7-7-08 Page 2 Council President Buckholtz indicated that Dave Miller prepared the budget from the numbers from last year. He prepared the Alternative Tax Budget. It is very easy to read. The tax rates were pre-verified by Council President Buckholtz with the Budget Commission for the County to make sure they .were all on task. They are. The page showing the 2008 transfers is perfect. Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any questions. There were none. Council President Buckholtz indicated that the tax budget is due by July 15, 2008. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted Council President Buckholtz stated that Council will be going into Executive Session for personnel matters in terms of hiring and compensation. . Motion to go into Executive Session for personnel matters in terms of hiring and compensation. Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to go into Executive Session for personnel matters in terms of hiring and compensation. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Adjournment Authorized Council President Buckholtz advised that when Council returns, they will not have any other business for the Special Meeting. We will move right into Caucus at that point. It will take us a little time to go over a few things during Executive Session. Council President Buckholtz knows there are some people who want to speak tonight during Caucus. We may move the Caucus around to bring issues up front, starting off with the item pqople are here for tonight to talk about. Council adjourned for Executive Session at approximately 8:20 p.m. Council readjourned at approximately 8:40 p.m.
