Thank you for being here.
A member of the audience, Mr. Nichols, asked Council President Buckholtz if he may address
Council. Council President Buckholtz stated that we usually allow anyone to address Council,
but he is unsure of the specifics, having already announced Executive Session.
Mr. Diemert advised that there is a public portion after the Executive Session. Council President
Buckholtz apologized, but stated that we had two open portions. It is just a technicality.
Mr. Nichols asked if he can address Council after Executive Session. Council President
Buckholtz advised, absolutely, we are not leaving.
Council adjourned for Executive Session at approximately 8:55 p.m.
Council readjourned at approximately 9:55 p.m.
NY OTIiER MATTERS :
Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any additional comments.
Mr. Nichols notified Council President Buckholtz that during Executive Session, he
discussed his concerns with others and some of the questions he wanted to ask were answered.
He will get the rest of the answers later on. Council President Buckholtz indicated that first and
foremost, it is important for Council to communicate with the public. There is never a wrong time
except Executive Session which is a special situation, but everyone is always welcome to come
up and address Council.
Mr. Marquardt stated that he does believe that we should get our Caucus and Council
meetings more aligned. Two issues that were brought up tonight that were contentious certainly
should have been brought up at Caucus. There were only about three items on Caucus compared
to the rest of the items on this agenda tonight. We are drifting away from the process here.
ADJOURNMENT
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adjourn.
