Regular Council Meeting Minutes 11-17-OS Page 13 First Readinll of Resolution No. 2008-29, entitled, "An emergency resolution in support of Cleveland Metroparks Application to the Cuyahoga County Natural Resources Advisory Council (NRAC) to acquire a parcel of land along Wilson Mills Road in the North Chagrin Reservation, the application being titled, "Beechers Brook Helmock Point Preservation." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2008-29. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted NY O`I'HER 1VIATTERS : Council President Bucklioltz aslced if there were any additional comments. Mr. Metzung thanked everyone for their support for the salting program. Mr. Saponaro reminded everyone that A Christmas Carol will be performed at Reserve Hall on December 7th for two weekends. Information went out in the Voice of the Village. . Everyone should attend. Mrs. Mills asked Mr. Saponaro about Sister Cities. Mr. Saponaro reported that they had a great meeting with Dr. Price, Jeff Thomas, Joanne and Patsy. Dr. Price and the rest of the committee is very enthused about Sister Cities. We are trying to get the appropriate people in place. Dr. Price will talk to some folks at the high school level. We are reconvening on December 12th at 11:30 at the high school because Dr. Price is looking to engage a couple of the teachers and Jeff is doing some research and we are trying to reinvigorate the program with the goal being that a separate organization outside of Mayfield Village be in charge of this whole process. We do not want to take this under our auspices nor does the school nor should it be. We feel if we are the catalysts for it, we can get this good program off of its feet.
