MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL Mayfield Village November 8, 2004 The Council of Mayfield Village met in special session on Monday, November 8, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Bill Buckholtz presided. ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills, and Mr. Saponaro Absent: Dr. Parker Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Ms. Calta, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Chapman, Lieutenant Edelman, Mr. Marrelli, Mr. Metzung, Chief Mohr, Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Roman • Consideration of Request for a New C-1 Permit to Ad Exchange DBA Basket Fairy at 6519 Wilson Mills Road (MV must return form to Ohio Division of Liquor Control by 11/15/04 whether or not there is a request for a hearing.) Mrs. Roman said Dr. Parker advised he would probably not be here this evening. Council President Buckholtz said Council needs to consider approval or disapproval of the request for a new C-1 permit tonight so the form can be returned to the Ohio Division of Liquor Control by November 15. He opened the floor for discussion. Mrs. Mills said we received a list of licenses held in Mayfield Village; however, I do not think we have the ones listed in Gates Mills-Heinen's, Dairy Mart, Aladdin's and Shell weren't on the list so we should keep in mind they should be on the list also. Mrs. Roman said Heinen's and Dairy Mart are in the 44143 zip code area so maybe they are of a different classification. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion not to request a hearing. Council President Buckholtz confirmed an AYE vote will confirm that Council does not wish to request a hearing. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Mrs. Roman to return the form to the Ohio Department of Liquor Control indicating that Council does not wish to request a hearing. • Executive Session
