Regular Council Minutes <br />12-6-04 <br />Page 13 <br />• A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $4,506.38 to Albert Herman <br />Draperies, Inc. for window treatments for Phase One Offices for the Civic Center <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$4,506.38 to Albert Herman Draperies, Inc. for window treatments for Phase One Offices for the <br />Civic Center. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />• A motion to authorize the appointments to the Fireman's Dependents Fund <br />Council President Buckholtz noted this motion had already been done (earlier in the meeting.) <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure not to exceed $10,000 to John Palmer for the 2005 <br />Appreciation Dinner <br />1 <br /> <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to authorize an expenditure not to exceed <br />$10,000 to John Palmer for the 2005 Appreciation Dinner. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />• 12-hour Shifts for Police Department <br />Council President Buckholtz said I would like to rephrase that if I can: A motion to give <br />our support to the 12-hour shifts on a one-year trial basis to be evaluated by the Finance <br />Director and, of course, the Police Chief. <br />Mr. Marrie, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to show Council's support of <br />12-hour shifts for the Police Department on a one-year trial basis. <br />
