The Chesapeake Energy Group decided they would not drill after <br />hearing 7 hours of testimony. - <br />There continues to be more information coming out about the pollution of water. Mrs. Triner <br />submitted to Mrs. Betsa an article from The Plain Dealer written by a person who is a lead scientist <br />for the Land Institute in Salina, Kansas. It talks about the carcinogens in the water. There are articles <br />which contest that written by somebody who works for an oil and gas company. It's hard to fmd out <br />any information because either the records are kept secret or records aren't kept. <br />Mrs. Triner thanked Council very much for all of the good work that's been done. It shows that <br />people are working together getting the right information and it will really make a difference. Mrs. Triner stated there are additional copies of what Jim presented available. Mrs. Triner suggested <br />people read it and write a personal note to Strickland in support of Senator Grendell's Bill. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was anyone else.
