Special Council Meeting Minutes <br />December 7, 2009 <br />Page 15 <br />Mrs. Triner replied the Council members have the citizens, if nothing else, an ability to --- <br />Mayor R.inker said he is not sure what Council Mrs. Triner is talking about. <br />Mrs. Triner replied, Mayfield Village Council. What would they be willing to do, what can you <br />do, what will you do? <br />Mayor Rinker said the legislation that you are saying and the matuier in which Council has <br />moved to adopt it, across the board, we are all - <br />Mrs. Triner said, it's been wonderful. It would be wonderful if from the State standpoint you <br />would be willing to individually write to Strickland handwritten letters. <br />Mayor Rinker said, he can't speak for the Council but he can speak for the Mayor's office that's <br />something we have done and will continue to do. <br />Mrs. Triner appreciates that. She would just ask if as individuals maybe not members of <br />Council, but if they would like to send handwritten letters, we talked about that when you were <br />out of the room, handwritten letters or phone ca11s would make a big difference and then wliere <br />we can Strickland, Lee Fisher, Armand Budish, any of those people if you have a relationship if <br />you can work that relationship to make this legislation more effective, we would appreciate that. <br />Mayor Rinker said, okay. <br />Mrs.Triner said, thank you. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if anyone has anything that has not been brought up already. <br />There were no further comments. <br />Council President Buckholtz thanked everyone for coming, for being -involved and remaining <br />involved.
