Regular Council Meeting Minutes <br />12-21-09 <br />Page 25 <br />Before Council goes in to Executive Session, Council President Buckholtz would like to thank <br />Mr. Marquardt for the work done by the Ordinance Review Committee this year. It was more <br />than all of the years he has been here. <br />Mayor Rinker added it's fair to say it's more than all of the years in anyone's collective memory <br />here. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Personnel <br />- Motion to go into Egecutive Session to discuss 2010 compensation including <br />wages and benefits of all public employees. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss 2010 <br />compensation including wages and benefits of all public employees, Roll Ca11: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Executive Session approved <br />Council President Buckholtz stated that Council has two more items they will be voting on. The <br />public is welcome to stay or they can call it a night. If anyone is leaving, Council President <br />?- Buckholtz wishes them a Happy and Healthy New Yeaz. Thank you for being present. <br />Linda Butler stated she had a question. In the ordinance related to the gas wells, it seems there is <br />going to be a need to educate the public about particulazly if someone allows a gas well on their <br />property, they need to carry $5,000,000 worth of insurance. What are your plans to let the <br />Village know of these changes? Mr. Mazquardt replied that Diane Ca1ta is preparing an article <br />for the next Yoice of the Village to sutrunarize the ordinance. Council went into Executive Session at approximately 9:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Council reconvened at approximately 10:20 p.m. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2009-68, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance amending <br />Section 153.03(B), 153.06(B) and 153.15(C) of the Village's Codified Ordinances <br />pertaining to employee compensation." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />?'- , Rules Suspended
