<br />MINUTES OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall <br />January 9, 2006 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in special session for the annual Organizational <br />Meeting of Council on Monday, January 9, 2006, at 8:00 p.m. in Mayfield Village Civic <br />Hall. Mayor Bruce G. Rinker called the meeting to order. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: William Buckholtz, William Marquardt, <br />Thomas Marrie, Lillian (Patsy) Mills, <br />Dr. Stephan Parker and Joseph Saponaro <br />Absent: Joanne Cinco <br />Also Present: Mayor Bruce G. Rinker, Mr. Brett, <br />Mr. Metzung, Mr. Mohr, Mr. Marrelli <br />Chief Dearden, Mr. Thomas, Mr. Chapman, <br />Ms. Calta and Mrs. Betsa <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Administration of Oaths of Office <br /> <br />Mayor Rinker administered the Oath of Office to the following Council members: <br />Lillian Mills <br />William Bucklioltz <br />Thomas Marrie <br />Mayor Rinker explained that Joanne Cinco was previously sworn in due to the <br />fact that her brother who has been hospitalized in Florida took a turn for the worse. She <br />had to rush back down there. Joanne was sworn in last week on an emergency basis to <br />keep things legal at our end. We offer our prayers for her family. <br />• Election of President of Council <br />Mayor Rinker entertained a motion to open the floor for nominations for Council <br />President. <br />Mrs. Mills made a motion to open the floor for nominations for Council President. <br /> <br />Dr. Parker seconded the motion to open the floor for nominations for Council <br />President.
