Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />May 22, 2006 <br />Page 14 <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-08, ""An emergency resolution to adopt the Solid Waste <br />Management Plan for the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management District". Introduced by <br />Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2006-08. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2006-18 "An emergency ordinance authorizing the Mayor to <br />enter into the contract with the F.O.P." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Sapanaro, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. ? <br />2006-18. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Council President thanked the wage committee and the police department. Mr. Saponaro indicated <br />this is a 5-year contract and they did an excellent job. Council President Buckholtz thanked Mr. <br />Brett as well. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Litigation <br />Real Estate <br />Mr. Buckholtz indicated that there are no items to discuss for Executive Session. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if there were any other comments. <br />Dr. Parker asked Mr. Thomas if we need to put irrigation on the one field. Mr. Thomas <br />indicated that that has been under consideration. He recommends it. Dr. Parker added that we <br />have invested a lot of time and money into the grass. Mr. Thomas indicated that from manpower . <br />standpoint it was recommended to look at doing that. We would not do any work until after the
