Mr. Metzung indicated <br />he is already involved in that project. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Motion to authorize acceptance of the bid from Playcreations relative. to the <br />Parkview Playground Resurfacing Project (100% beige & green: $24,792.00; 50% <br />green or half: $21,279.80; 33% black, green or beige: $22,519.40). <br />Mr. Saponaro clarified that the Finance Committee recommended 100% beige and green <br />at $24,792.00. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, motion to authorize acceptance of the bid from <br />Playcreations relative to the Parkview Playground Resurfacing Project (100% beige & green: <br />$24,792:00). <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2006-31, "An ordinance to provide for the issuance <br />and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $4,500,000 for the <br />purpose of constructing, equipping, furnishing, improving the site of, and otherwise <br />improving a new police station, and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor <br />Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br /> <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Bid Accepted; Expenditure Authorized <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2006-31. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Dr. Parker indicated that one thing we do need to mention is that it does not cover all of the costs. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked that in the beginning of the year, we were 10.7 million dollars in debt. We <br />have 7.5 million dollars in new debt. What does that bring us up to? Mr. Brett responded that the <br />7.5 also rolls in the two million from the former fire station.
