Special Council Minutes 10/9/06 Page 2 Mr. Brett reported that these are for the tax rates that we put together for the 2007 tax budget. We have pretty much gone over the tax budget back in July when we had a public hearing. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-23, entitled, "An emergency resolution in support of Issue #19 - a Health and Human Services Replacement Reduction Levy." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2006-23. Mr. Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. This is just a replacement levy for Health and Human Services. Mr. Buckholtz said there being no further discussion, he needs a motion to go into Executive Session. Additionally, for clarification purposes, the agenda indicates for "Litigation" matters. The agenda should actually read, "Personnel" matters. This was clarified on the floor. Motion to adjourn into Executive Session for personnel matters. Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adjourn into Executive Session for personnel matters. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Adjournment Authorized Council adjourned for Executive Session at approximately 8:05 p.m. Council readjourned at 8:15 p.m. First Reading of Ordinance No. 2006-43, "An emergency ordinance ratifying the collective bargaining agreement between the International Association of Firefighters, Local 2619, and Mayfield Village, Ohio." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. 1 Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
