Special Council Minutes <br />10/9/06 <br />Page 2 <br />Mr. Brett reported that these are for the tax rates that we put together for the 2007 tax <br />budget. We have pretty much gone over the tax budget back in July when we had a <br />public hearing. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-23, entitled, "An emergency resolution in support of <br />Issue #19 - a Health and Human Services Replacement Reduction Levy." Introduced by <br />Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2006-23. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. This is just a replacement levy for <br />Health and Human Services. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said there being no further discussion, he needs a motion to go into Executive <br />Session. Additionally, for clarification purposes, the agenda indicates for "Litigation" matters. The <br />agenda should actually read, "Personnel" matters. This was clarified on the floor. <br />Motion to adjourn into Executive Session for personnel matters. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adjourn into Executive Session for <br />personnel matters. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Adjournment Authorized <br />Council adjourned for Executive Session at approximately 8:05 p.m. <br />Council readjourned at 8:15 p.m. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2006-43, "An emergency ordinance ratifying the collective <br />bargaining agreement between the International Association of Firefighters, Local 2619, and <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio."
