Regular Council Meeting <br />3-26-07 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We need to amend the next item to Commercial Opening Services. It will be only one pair of <br />doors, the entry from the hall foyer. The amount will be $9,865.00. <br />We need to defer and remove from the agenda Ken's Parkhill Roofing. We are going to defer <br />that and go out and look at other options. <br />Lastly, the contribution for the Mayfield Township Historical Society should be noted as "in an <br />arriount not to exceed $7,000.00". <br />Mr. Marquardt asked if it would be worthwhile to rearrange the agenda to move Ordinance 2007- <br />11 to the front of the agenda. There were individuals in the audience who attended the Council <br />meeting for the purpose of finding out Council's decision on this ordinance. Mr. Buckholtz <br />stated that as long as we are amending it. Ordinance 2007-11 will be moved to the front of the <br />agenda at this point. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, moved to amend the agenda. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Agenda amended <br />Fiirst Reading of Ordinance No. 2007-11, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance authorizing the <br />sel.ection of Marous Brothers Construction, Inc. to render construction management services <br />related to the construction of the Village's police station and authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />an agreement." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2007-11. <br />Cauncil President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Chief Dearden advised that Council should have received his memo on Friday in their packets. The <br />memo updates recent developments regarding the process we have been going through to solidify <br />the decision on the Construction Manager portion of the project. He has placed into the memo <br />so:me concerns and issues that we have, really just finalized by reaffirming our recommendation of <br />two weeks ago to award that part of the proj ect to Marous Brothers Construction.
