Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, July 18, 2016 <br />Page 12 <br />• Motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to exceed $25,000 to DJL <br />' Material and Supply, Inc. for crack sealing program. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to <br />exceed $25,000 to DJL Material and Supply, Inc. for crack sealing program. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All . Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Expenditure Authorized <br />• Motion to authorize the purchase of 1,800 (+/- 10%) of salt from Cargill Inc. at <br />$29.23 per ton in an amount not to exceed $57,875.40. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize the purchase of 1,800 (+/- 10%) <br />of salt from Cargill Inc. at $29.23 per ton in an amount not to exceed $57,875.40. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />Mrs. Mills asked, what was it last year, Doug, $57? <br />Mr. Metzung replied, $52.80. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, so we went from $52.80 down to $29.23. Prior to that, it was <br />$80. <br />Mr. Metzung replied, $80 for the summer fill. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, we have gone down quite a lot which is the trend that we <br />want.
