MINUTES OF TIIE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL Mayfield Village Civic Hall Monday, October 17, 2016 - 5:00 p.m. The Council of Mayfield Village inet in Regular Session on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Mayfield Village Civic Hall. Council President Saponaro called the meeting to order at `8:00 p.m. ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Jerome, Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills, Dr. Parker Mr. Saponaro and Mr. Williams Also Present: Mayor Bodnar, Mr. Wynne, Mr. Diemert, Lieutenant Girbino, Mr. Marrelli, Chief Edelman, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Thomas, Ms. Wolgamuth and Mrs. Betsa Absent: Mr. Marquardt and Mr. Metzung 1 The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. OPEN PORTION - For Public Comment (3-minute limit imposed by Chair). -,. ..~ Chairman Saponaro welcomed George Koretis from St. Ignatius High School. He is here to view government in action. Mr. Koretis, if you have any questions, you certainly can raise your hand and we will be happy to help you out either during or after the meeting. Chairman Saponaro welcomed Mr. William Rubin, Branch Manager of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, Mayfield Village. - Comments from William Rubin, Branch Manager, Cuyahoga County Public Library, Mayfield Village, Ohio Thank you very much. It's great to be here today. I was at the opening of the Community Room. It's good to see you again in an official capacity here today. I want to tell you about three different things happening in the Mayfield Library for you to go home with and tell your friends and tell your constituents about. 1. Innovation Center -This was opened earlier this year. It dovetails very nicely with the STEMM program that the students are getting over at the High School. Our Center is aimed at adults, giving them an opportunity to learn how to program, learn how to use Adobe Speedgrade on Mask, learn how to use Lego Mindstorm and do 3-D printing. We
