Introduced by
Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Finance Department)
Council President Saponaro stated, this is something that is a timing issue to get passed this
evemng.
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council
requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Rules Suspended
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2016-26.
Council President Saponaro asked, any discussion? My understanding is that we have a
timing issue. We want to get this done so we can get the benefit from the rates as soon as
possible, correct?
Mrs. Betsa replied, they will process the paperwork tomorrow if it passes this evening.
Mr. Jerome stated, we are losing money as we speak.
Council President Saponaro asked, anything else to discuss?
There were no further comments.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried
NAYS: None Ordinance Enacted
OTI~ER IVIATTERS
Council President Saponaro asked, are there any other matters before Council at this time?
Mr. Williams stated, I just wanted to thank Mayor Bodnar, Chief Edelman, Mr. Cappello and
Doug Metzung for attending the neighborhood meeting last week. The Worton Park/Joyce area
across the street from Home Depot has been having serious traffic concerns due to an increase in
traffic at peak times. Administration came in and met with the neighborhood. We walked away
with a preliminary solution, not a total answer, but a preliminary solution to help with traffic
there. The neighborhood also agreed to rejuvenate the homeowner's association in Worton Park.
Thank you again Mayor and Ms. Wolgamuth for attending.
Council President Saponaro stated, very good. Any other matters?
There were none.
